Skywatch Friday - Hills of Friendship

The most beautiful discovery true friends make is that they can grow separately without growing apart. - Elisabeth Foley

I was so blessed today to be able to spend time with my great friends from Lake Curlew!
I clicked this from the car window (no, I was not driving) off of Highway 2. I just adore the color in the hills. I think the dark and rainy clouds make the colors just pop.

Thank you, Diane and Jed, for a wonderful day. I so enjoyed spending time with you!
Thank you, Diane, for the delicious coffee and the hours of chatting.
I miss you already and can't wait to see you both again.

Update: Jed has completed his radiation treatments and is doing very well. Hallelujah! Next step is imaging and talking with the oncologist to get those results. We are continuing to pray that the spot in the brain is now gone and that the spots in his lungs have not grown and are miraculously gone, too! Diane, Jed and I thank you for your continued prayers.

  1. Though the sky may be a bit dreary, the attitude makes it cheery.

  4. What an interesting photo, when I bring it up, full size, it looks like a water color painting. Love it. Wonderful news, about Jed, will continue to pray for his recovery and strength and also for your mom. Have a most wonderful week end.

  6. Not sure where this is, but I was driving in similar colors and weather last weekend. (I know it's not where I live, but it could be a number of places elsewhere.) The bad weather didn't bother me at all.

When I am down (this is one of those days), I just scroll through the pictures on your blog. You are so good and have a great eye for beauty! I totally missed this one. Our friendship is so special! Thank YOU for being in my life. I wish I could personally thank everyone who prayed for Jed. Jesus has had his hand on us every day through this "challenge". Love ya Stace, Diane
