Paw Baby

Dogs are miracles with paws. - Attributed to Susan Ariel Rainbow Kennedy

Dogs' lives are too short. Their only fault, really. - Agnes Sligh Turnbull

We long for an affection altogether ignorant of our faults. Heaven has accorded this to us in the uncritical canine attachment. - George Eliot

I betchuve missed clicks of my baby, huh?
Maybe it is I who has missed posting them?

In any case... my little baby is in dire need of prayers.
Or, maybe it's me needing prayers for him.

Doogie's back pain has increased significantly.
He's had some treatments that have hurt and not helped.
He's on pain meds, steroids and several supplements as surgery is not an option.

Please pray for Doogie's healing, relief of pain and increase in mobility.
Please pray for my peace and grace when the time comes to let him go.
I'll need it. And then some.

He's been with me only two years but it feels like forever - in such a wonderful way.
He's my child in so many ways.
I know I was the one who initiated the adoption - but he so adopted me into his little heart.
He had me at first wag.

  2. Oh, Stacey, my heart aches for you and your little dog. I will remember you both in my prayers. I lost our dog after 13years, on my birthday, and I have never had another one. I pray that you have the strength to carry you through this. By the way, what a beautiful capture of your dog, it should be framed.

  3. Beautiful portrait. I wish you both well. I truly know how difficult it is dealing with an ill four-legged family member. I been through it with two of our beloved cat over this past summer. It hardy seems real.

  8. My eyes filled with tears when I read about your Doogie. You have my prayers for you and for your beloved pet. 2 days or 2 years, no difference. we have 2 rescue dogs, to see them go to www.fourpawsetc.blogspot.com i don't know how to add this as a link. all 3 of our dogs were rescue from abuse. we lost Cooper last year and our beloved Max of 15 years we lost in 2002. the pain is still there, but we love the 2 we have left. if you go to archives 5/24 you will see what Jake looked like when we got him from the street. God Bless you
