Treasures of Thanks

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures. - Thornton Wilder

As our day of Thanks nears, I find myself thinking about the things I am grateful for.
My family and friends are a given....so is Doogie and my home.

I think I've decided to be most grateful for the journey this year has taken me on.
There's been a multitude of ups and downs through the thick and the thin.
Through it all I have learned much - about myself, about God, and about life.

What are you most thankful for this year?

  2. What a beautiful composition! Simple, yet elegant. As a member of the fire service, I see many sad events, but at each one I see folks of all kinds show up who really care and who do whatever they can to help: I'm very grateful for them.
