Drawing on Strength

I believe in prayer. It's the best way we have to draw strength from heaven. - Josephine Baker

Emotions go up
Emotions tumble down

Heart is full
Then deflated

Youth quickly passes
Old Age, I see, lingers on

The tears slide
My knees buckle

Quiet prayers ascend
Needed strength rains down.

  2. the quote is perfect, and so is the poem. I am sending it on to a friend that is stuggling right now, and i think it will help her. My friend in Savannah calls prayer
"Storming Heaven". she will send emails saying who needs prayers and then asked us all to storm heaven with her.
