Consistent Prayer

The value of consistent prayer is not that He will hear us, but that we will hear Him. - William McGill

We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties. - Oswald Chambers

Consistent prayer is needed today, please.
I spoke with my friend this morning about her husband, Jed.  Jed's lung cancer has returned for the third time in two years.  They have been told that chemo and radiation are no longer available options.  Hospice has been offered.

I'm asking for prayer on their behalf.  Please pray for a miraculous recovery, for strength, guidance, comfort, peace, love, support, friendship and for God's blessings and favor to be showered on them as they continue to work through this illness together.

Thank you.

PS:  This is a view from my friends' deck in Curlew.  Isn't it wonderful?
Can't way to get back there - sit on the deck, chat with my friends and drink ice tea!

  9. May God's special blessings be showered on you're friend and her family at this very difficult time.

What a beautiful photo of a beautiful view. I like that you added a bit of the structure to not only show the drop dead gorgeous scene, but also the setting. Great Job Stacy.

P.S. Thanks for adding your portrait to your profile. It's really nice to see what you look like as I get to know you better.

I am so blessed with a friend as dear and special as Stacey. And thank to all of you, her blog friends, as you have been praying for Jed and I during these past years. We certainly get a special peace sitting on our deck all the days of the summer. And then, of course, the peace of God is always with us. He is right there holding us as we go through this trial. He loves us so much...the best personal relationship I have ever had! We aren't giving up on that healing happening either! May all of you be blessed, especially my Stacey. Love ya, Diane

I don't think I would get enough of that view. I'd want to sit out there all the time. I'm sorry to hear that Jed's cancer has returned. 16. We are able to bare the trials of this life when we have faith in a loving Father in Heaven who comforts and cares for us, and we have His assurance that there is an even better life ahead. Sending my faith and prayers to Jed and his family. Stacey this is a glorious image made perfectly with the natural frame.

  19. Oh that God would wrap His loving arms around Jed and his family and bring them the calm assurance that He is in control of everything. I love the Oswald Chambers quote - so valuable as we journey thru life - worrying - when we could release it all to Him.

Your photo is amazing (once again)
