How my Faith increased

Faith isn't faith until it's all you're holding on to. - Author unknown (Thinkexist.com)

I began blogging in 2007 (on a blog that no longer exists) to connect with family.  Soon, I began to share thoughts, photos and felt myself swept up with the blog world at large.  My addiction to blogging and photography grew from there and continues to grow (almost daily!)

Blog land helped me discover many gifted, talented, and wonderfully creative people (see many of them listed in my Blog Roll).  Some of these people are now friends I cherish....even though we have not met in person - yet!

I was totally blown out of the water one day when I realized that blogging was responsible for helping me increase my Faith.  It's true!  I've discovered Christian blogs, online devotionals and so many Christian men and women who are bold in their Faith, their walk with God and filled with His joy and love - even though their lives are not perfect and full of struggle.

5 minutes for Faith was the first Daily Devotional Blog I found.  I still love it!  You can even subscribe in email or in a reader.

I recently came across a website called Christ Notes which allows me to have a daily Bible verse sent to me on email.  It's fabulous for reminding me to keep God front and center - even and especially - while I'm on the Internet!

(In)courage is the other site that keeps me mesmerized.  It's written by a rotating group of women that talk about issues they've overcome because of God.  It's truly and encouragement to me and I don't believe it's only for women!  There's so much more to this site so I hope you will check it out.

I was not asked to talk about these sites and I am not being paid by them in any way.  I just wanted to share this info with you because of how much they have helped me - and still do - on a daily basis.

  1. Hi dearling, it's soooo wonderful to be back (let's have faith I get the upportunity to do so). ;0

What a wonderful gift you're sending me by the theme FAITH. I have a big lack of it right now in my life. But God is keep pushing me in the direction he want's me to be so I must have Faith. For all he's guiding me and holding my hand when I'm having a hard time believing in myself.

So if you have a spare hand cross your fingers for me these days. Every bit will help.

    Wonderful blessed hugs

  6. A circle of believers is wonderful. The bible says that where two or more are gathered in my name, there am I in your midst. Maybe that is meant for bloggers, as well! I love your photo illustration!

  7. I think that's awesome that it has increased you faith. One of the things I like about blogs is that it's (mostly) just regular people sharing a little bit of their day, and yet sometimes there are things that really touch the heart. Thanks for sharing some of your favorite sites. I find that one of the best ways to explore is by following new links from sites that you like.
