Empty, Depleted for Full, Open

Empty pockets never held anyone back. Only empty heads and empty hearts can do that. - Norman Vincent Peale

What do you see in this image? Do you see a Tulip that is Empty and Depleted or Full and Open?

I see myself when I look at this image. I see myself the way I've been feeling: blah, empty, depleted and devoid of purpose and passion.

Do you ever feel this way?

As I look at this image again I see something different.

I see myself as being open, full of promising light in the middle of perceived darkness. I see myself as waiting - ready for a beautiful, meaningful purpose to rain down on me.

This verse sums up my thoughts:
Psalm 27:14 (KJV) says to "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."
