Rejoicing in Today

I walk without flinching through the burning cathedral of the summer. My bank of wild grass is majestic and full of music. It is a fire that solitude presses against my lips. ~Violette Leduc, Mad in Pursuit

Sunlight glowing among tall grasses makes me happy.

As we don't have many wheat fields nearby (which really make me happy), I rejoice when I see tall grasses waving in the breeze and bathed in the sun.

They seem to be full of life... full of breath... full of joy. They seem to be alive.

This image brings to mind Psalm 118:24, "This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." (KJV)

Today I rejoice and am very glad to be alive.

Blessings to you and yours today. May you be alive with inspiration!
