Growth - My story, Part 2

The life of every man is a diary in which he means to write one story, and writes another. ~James Matthew Barrie
~♥~

I've been thinking and praying about the writing of "My Story, Part 2."

I've even drafted several attempts.

However, within the last few days I realized my story is not ready to be written at this time. It's like I'm mid-sentence in a very long paragraph.

I'm still growing and becoming who I am supposed to be. I'm still wrestling with some things that I would like to include with a final outcome.

So, I ask for forgiveness. Please forgive me for not writing my story at this time.

I'd like to add that I was asked what sharing my story had to do with photography and textures in Kim Klassen's Beyond Layers class. (You can read her story here.)

In short, the details of my unshared story led to my passion for photography, creating images and sharing my Faith in a God Who authors all stories ... and is the Giver of second chances at life.

  2. so glad you are getting your post back even one at a time. i just found a quote on another blog that i am adding to my list that i want to read over and over. it's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not.

  3. Just like the comments above...take your time, and if, or when you decide to share, it will feel right. I've been thinking of you so much with your blog issues...I guess I just assumed my blog would always be there...still looking into saving my posts to my hard drive...glad you are getting some back!

  4. I think you made a wise decision, Stacey. If it doesn't come naturally or feel right, you need a break! I do think that pain and angst create great art. I have just gone back and caught up on your posts I missed while on break, I am SO sorry that this happened!!! Did you say that you have finally recovered your posts, and how were you able to do that? It's scary to think that such a thing can happen. And yet, I wonder if this was maybe a sign to not continue with your story....happening right at this time..I don't believe in coincidences. But I AM glad that you are back and posting!!
