Ache is Gone!

When you are unwell, you must cough, sneeze, and ache prayer.  - Terri Guillemets

I'm joining in on Five Minute Friday this week.

The topic is Ache and we are to write for 5 minutes straight.
Here I go!!

When I think of the word "ache" I think of what my heart has been holding onto for so many years.

Pain from abuse that helped lead to sin and my desire to make it right.

I kept looking to the men that were responsible for the pain in order for them to make it right.

The other night I realized those men can't make it right.  I can't make it right.  Only one person can make it right and that's God.

I can't begin to tell you what freedom, peace and relief I felt when that ache suddenly turned and left my being.

God sent His Son to pay for my sins.  He also paid for the sins of those who hurt me.  Heavy though, huh?

I physically feel sick (nasty sinus cold) but spiritually and emotionally I'm on a high like I've never experienced because it comes from a place so deep inside my soul.

The dry places... the brittle places... the skeletal places... they are flooded with joy, peace, happiness  and a renewed trust in my Creator.

This Bible verse comes to mind, Psalm 30:5:  For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Thank you God!

PS:  I'm also linking up to Spiritual Sundays.

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend, rain, snow, wind or sunshine!
