A gift of Sunshine

Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.   - Anthony J. D'Angelo

A sweet neighbor friend left this bunch of tulips hanging on my door the other day.  They've lasted for well over a week.

Their yellow color cheers me every time I look at them - despite the fact that I was diagnosed with acute bronchitis and an acute sinus infection today.

Although I feel like I've been beaten all over with a baseball bat, my spirits are still soaring since that big ol' ache left me.  I continue to thank and praise God for that and am relishing in the positive feelings I have.

So, while my body heals with much rest and gallons of tea, water, apple juice and chicken soup, I'll be kickin' back, watching movies, sleeping, reading, sleeping, drinking tea, sleeping and chatting up God's ear about what He has planned next for my life.

Please take good care of yourselves.  The medical clinic I go to told me there has been a huge outbreak of this kind of "crud" going around.  Even through their clinic where both the staff and the patients wear masks!

It's kinda funny though how wearing a mask causes your glasses to fog up.  Kinda not, too.  ☺
