DaySpring Product Review: Perfectly Loved

Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering.

There is a crack in everything,
That's how the light gets in.~Leonard Cohen

No one is perfect... that's why pencils have erasers. ~Author Unknown

I think I've mentioned a time (or two) of the semi-need I have to be perfect all the while knowing it can never be achieved.

Filling my home with reminders of God's promises, wisdom, and love reminds me every day that I don't have to be perfect to be perfectly loved.

However, on those days when I struggle, I look around my home (or in my cupboards) and see reminders like this one:
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.  1 John 4:10 NIV

It's freeing to accept yourself as you are.  It's not always easy but it is doable, with positive reminders.  And, of course it helps to know that God accepts me - loves me - just as I am.

After reading Holley's book, "You're Already Amazing," I had the chance to receive and review a few of her new products for DaySpring.

I was so happy to receive the canvas wrapped block (6 inches square).  It's a perfect addition to my bedroom collage and reminds me when I first open my eyes that I am perfectly loved.  Right now it's sitting on a shelf, but soon I think it will have it's own nail to hold it on my wall.

I also received two mugs with 1 John 4:10 written on them.  I love the blue color (reminds me of the Spring sky) but I adore the little red heart inside at the bottom of the mug.  The handles are cute in style but are a bit awkward in form for my fingers.  I am enjoying them immensely and have now added this verse to my memory collection thanks to being able to read it over and over again as I sip my vanilla coffee.

I hope you'll browse through Holley's collection.  I am sure you'll find something special to encourage and uplift you.  For more DaySpring reviews on Holley's collection, click here or on the (in)spired deals image below.

PS1:    Did you notice the mug in my image above? It's imperfectly balanced on my fence post to remind me that even when my world is feeling a little out of balance, I am still loved... perfectly loved.

PS2:  I am required to tell you that I was given these products for free by DaySpring in exchange for writing a review on my Blog.  The opinions are my own.

PS3:  Thank you again Holley for sharing such an important message.  And, thank you DaySpring for being so generous in allowing me to receive, review and keep your products.  I love them!

  5. I stress this often to both my Sunday School class and Kid's Church. Nobody is perfect 'cause if we were we'd be God and we are certainly not God!!!

No matter how hard we try, we're all gonna blow it....several times a day if truth be known. God doesn't expect us to be perfect, He loves us no matter what!!! Woohooo... 'Nuff said!

It makes my heart sing that your feelin' the love sweetie.

Have yourself an awesomely blessed weekend my friend! :o)

  9. Love these products! I always remind myself that he says to love our neighbors as ourselves... which means we first need to love ourselves before we can love others. We are the work of his hands, after all!
