A Hairy Day

The I in illness is isolation, and the crucial letters in wellness are we- Author unknown, as quoted in Mimi Guarneri, The Heart Speaks: A Cardiologist Reveals the Secret Language of Healing

A harried day wrought with invasions of soul.
Searching for words and definitions to explain the unknown.

A song filled with reminders that I am not alone.
I belong to the body of Christ.

Listening to these words, sang over and over again, eased the torment and let "peace fill my soul."

Reminder to me:  God can use any "weakness," imperfect element, ailment or illness.
He's using Jason's to remind me that I am enough because of the One who made me.

  3. Amen! In Christ we are complete.

  4. This testimony is amazing, so many stutterers seem to be able to sing perfectly normally! Almost all the men God used had some defects, that is how He uses them, to show how His power can change people who you never thought could do anything. I am sorry you are having a bad time. As I remember you joined a church...do you still go and have you made friends there?

  5. The detail in this bud is just amazing!
    Beautifully photographed.

  6. That looks like a poppy bud. I find them fascinating as they begin to split so the flower can unfold.

  7. I belong. What an amazing feeling. I belong!

  8. That song is a favorite of mine too...sadly, I need to be reminded too often...God is good, God is faithful.

  9. A nice reminder. We're always reminding our son to remember who's child he is (ours and God's)
