DaySpring Product Review: Delighting and Thinking

I've been working hard these past few years to grow in faith and to trust in God's love for me.  As I've grown I've wanted to share more and more about Him and how much my life has changed for the better since I've developed a closer walk with Him.

At first, I bought myself a ring with the word "Faith" inscribed on it to wear on my hand and see any and every time I began to question or doubt.

Next, I bought myself a bracelet that says, "Trust in God" on one side and "He is forever faithful" on the other.

I wear those daily.  I sit and look at them and play with them while I wait in doctor offices or at stop lights.

DaySpring began asking if I'd like to participate in reviews a while back.  I've reviewed such inspiring books like "One Thousand Gifts" from Ann Voskamp.  I've also received artwork to hang in my home, mugs to drink from and now this gorgeous tote to carry as a witness to my faith.  I've truly loved all of their products.

This verse, Psalm 37:4 KJV:  "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart" has been a mainstay verse for me.  Every time I receive a gift, like a dragonfly perched on my doorstep waiting for me to capture it with my camera, I think of this verse and thank Him.

I've noticed that I feel lost if I miss my morning date with Jesus (which I rarely do).  I delight to spend my devotional and bible reading time with Him and in turn He truly is giving me the delights of my heart.  They are always in His time; His good and perfect time.

DaySpring also gave me this jute tote bag pictured below to give to a friend.  She doesn't know it yet, but when she arrives next week, my dear friend Diane will be receiving this.  (Surprise my friend!)

Diane helps me and encourages me to think positively and to pay attention to the gifts God gives me.  She always keep me in prayer and is totally modeling a life of living for Jesus.

The verse on this bag is from Philippians 4:8 NIV:  "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."

I am being very mindful when I see or hear negative things to turn my head and find something that fits in this verse for me to focus on.  It changes my whole perspective and attitude.


These totes are both very well made.  I love the oil cloth tote the most.  It's elegant, has pink flowers on it and fits my style to a "T."  The stitching is tight, the verse is clear and the pink pockets inside are perfect for holding my treasures.

The jute tote is very sturdy.  The colors are a little bold for my taste, but the meaning of the words and the reminder they give me make it hard for me to give this gem away.  I promise, I will though!

  3. I am honored, my friend. But, it is YOUR birthday next week...you are to receive the gifts! I receive a gift every single day that we are friends, talk on the phone, send cards. Jed used to smile and say "Is that Stacy on the phone AGAIN?" every time you called..but he knew I needed you! It is a blessing to have you in my life. I thank God every day for this friendship.
