Exciting Paths

This week's Five Minute Friday prompt is:  Path

The word "Path" in this instance means direction for me.

It's saying, "please hold" to certain dreams while others step forward.

I recently finished reading Sacred Singleness.  It's an amazing book that was recommended by Triple Braided.

This book helped reinforce my contentedness with being right where I am in life:  single, pursuing my dreams, developing a closer walk with Jesus and taking baby steps in new directions.

It's kind of exciting.... to turn my life reins over to God and let Him write the rest of my life story.

I'm sure there will be uneven places along the way and a few cobble stones that stick up from the earth to cause me to stub my toe.  When that happens I will remember my life verse that I paraphrase:  Jeremiah 29:11 -  'For I know the plans (paths) I have for you,' thus saith the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not harm you.  Plans (Paths) for a hope and a future.'

He has plans and great paths for you, too.
