Shining Light

Who is more foolish, the child afraid of the dark or the man afraid of the light? - Maurice Freehill

Open the blinds
Push back the drapes
Let the light shine through
.... even if your windows are dirty.

Feel the glow
Breathe in the light
Move in the joy given
.... even if gray skies threaten.

Try something new
Risk a moment of grace
Dare to keep your faith
.... even when Pausing seems the wrong way to go.

It's hard for me to take risks. I'm not one for getting out of my 'comfort zone' much!!

  3. My Mother in Law always talked about letting the light in to sweep away the darkness.
Funny I hadn't thought of her saying that for years.
    Thanks Stacey.
