Conforming

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. - Romans 12:2 KJV

It seems to be getting harder and harder to stay true to yourself, your beliefs and your values.

Doing what is right is often the hardest thing to do, especially when you know there could be consequences of some kind.

Staying close to Jesus, reading His word, praying and seeking Biblical counsel are ways I'm staying true to my beliefs in this world that truly has gone mad.

I am the one that is considered weird, strange, and crazy by some because I am doing everything I can to follow Christ's example and Word.  Doing so brings me peace, joy and strengthens my commitment to Trust and Follow and Him wherever He may lead.

I was told yesterday I am eccentric because I embrace my uniqueness and don't fit into any particular mold. I won't lie, it hurts sometimes to not fit in ... but you know what?  Overall, I think it's a mighty good thing.

  4. It would be a pretty boring world if we were all the same. That is for sure!
    Wishing you a wonderful June!

  5. Amen Stacy. To conform to everything isn't biblical. God says he made each of us unique. So keep up being who you are and I will too.
