Thanksgiving 2014

Happy Thanksgiving (late) to my Canadian friends and (early) to my United States friends!

Thanksgiving was never meant to be shut up in a single day. ~Robert Caspar Lintner

This little leaf flying around in the storm attached itself to my car mirror.

It made me happy to see it swirling in the wind and happier still when it was grafted onto my car as an ornament during a cloud burst.

This tiny piece of nature is on my list of the very many things I'm saying "Thank You, Lord, for..." this Thanksgiving.

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures. ~Thornton Wilder

Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Thanksliving to you all.

I'll be catching you on the other side of another click... some time soon....

  2. That little leaf would make me happy too, just last night I took a picture of one too, stuck to my car window in the rain. The rain turned to snow last night, about4 inches. Trying to be thankful for that too! Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for our friendship too!

    1. Wow - Anita! You've got snow. I'm thankful we don't .... at least not yet. It was sure fun talking to you a "few" miles apart. Last night I had a leaf swirling above my welcome mat in a little circle. It was so cool....very fun to watch. Hope you are well. xo

  4. And a Happy Thanksgiving to you too.
I think it's the small things that make up the fabric of our lives.
I'm grateful for the little hummingbird that flits around our Manzanita tree and the winter camellias that are beginning to bloom right outside my dining room window. I sit at the diningroom table and plunk away at the computer and gaze out the window.
The tree is finally turning a orangey, gold color. Its reflection bathes my table too.
This computer is another thing I'm thankful for.
Without it I wouldn't have made such wonderful friends and see the world though others eyes.
Happy to see you posting again.
