Tomorrow is Monday

I just saw a question on a photography forum asking for ideas on what Monday means, photographically speaking.

So many of the comments were filled with negativity.

In fact, I don't believe there were any positive ideas.

The worst, I thought, was sewage. Gross.

I'm lying in bed as I write this so no image will be attached.

However, if I were to put a positive spin on what Monday (could) mean....

I would say:

- lush green image in nature with bright streaming sunshine to represent a new dawn, a new day, a fresh new week.

- bright and fluffy clouds in blue sky to represent new perspectives, new dreams, new goals

- a new page in an old and worn notebook with brand spanking new number 2 pencils... Sharpened... To represent starting fresh

I remember Mondays of yesteryear. The dread. The piles of work waiting for me. The long early to rise and late to bed days. The stress of deadlines. The p.r.e.s.s.u.r.e.

I would rather face Monday's now then the weekend.

Weekends are very hard and lonely.

Monday's, for some reason, now give me a push to begin again in a hopeful direction.

May your Monday be blessed, less stressed, filled with new perspectives and be filled with hope.
